The Light of Hope

I am finding it to be a challenge to put 2 ½ months in South Africa into words much less the exciting changes happening at The Light Center. I want to express my deepest gratitude to so many people who stepped in to operate and tend TLC in my absence. I decided I was having a sabbatical which is something I have wanted to do for such a long time. It is very good to have the perspective of what we are doing in Kansas from clear across the planet, in what feels like a very different world in some ways. In other ways it feels like HOME! While I continue to be acutely aware that I have no idea what it was like to live under apartheid, I find myself being welcomed and embraced by my South African families, across all color lines. As the world churns and the challenges mount, I believe there is a great value in connecting deeply with one another and learning how we can support each other to succeed. We did many things in South Africa this trip, it can’t fit into one letter but suffice it to say that I will be forever grateful for the transformative power of this work. Thanks to everyone who made this possible!

What an amazing trip this was. All of us had tears in our eyes almost daily…tears of heartache yes, but also tears of awe and wonder. Spirit brought us to the right people and places in the most amazing ways and we were so blessed by that gracious guidance. But perhaps more often those tears arose from the deep heart connection we felt with the beautiful African people. They exhibit generosity even from a space of limited resources. It is a way of life that teaches us so much that I believe is important for us as Americans to learn. A friend recently said,” I see that you have turned your focus to Africa now…” and I can understand how if seems that way since I have been writing from South Africa for several months. However, I see my work to be the same here in Kansas as in South Africa. Africa presents such a foreshadowing of many conditions we may see more in the U.S. now. We complain when gas prices rise but they have always paid much more than we do. We complain if temperatures fall indoors when it is cold outside, but in S.A. the houses don’t have furnaces. Electric prices have gone up dramatically there and people are so much more careful and conscious of energy use. All across that massive continent there is an awareness that Africa is burning and fresh water is at a premium. And so I continue to go there to stay awake and aware of a drastically changing world.

And so I continue my commitment to steward one small piece of the planet that is undisturbed by humanity and provides a wonderful habitat. As our small community comes together at TLC, we will continue to listen to Mother Earth and discern the best ways to preserve just this much so that our children and grandchildren may experience the wonders of Nature. We are learning to grow food, grow food animals and to grow a heart-centered community. Currently we are seeking the perfect people to join our community or to be “time share” members who come and go. We could not do what we do without the on-going love and support of every kind that you contribute to this big adventure in the woods. Do come join in the magic! Wherever you go, however you play your part in this great rebirth on planet earth, please join us in holding the Light of Hope every step of the way…it is why we are here! I believe it matters,

“…literally restructuring the physical foundation of your existence with the Source Codes of regeneration.”

“What we would like for you to understand is that the upcoming alignment is the one you have been waiting for…it is ostensibly THE most powerful event of the ages…an adjustment that will enhance your lives in every way.” -PHC

From the perspective of the Pleiadians, the purpose of the 11:11 gateway is to anchor the frontrunners of new humanity both into the crystalline unity grid…the portal to full multidimensional consciousness…and into the heart center (crystalline core) of our planet….that which will precipitate the final integration period, the alignment of the physical body. This unprecedented alignment between the earth and those starbeings/lightworkers ready to be “plugged in” will apparently trigger a great psychic and physical opening that the PHC are coming forth to address.” (From Elizabeth Bardin)

The Dome of Light

Blessings to you from South Africa!

How interesting that there is this amazing attention being focused on Wall Street at this pivotal time on the planet. I will link with all those who are holding the sincere intention for peaceful change and carry that intention to the UN Summit on Climate Change!

The Dome of Light is burning bright and you are invited to add your Light every time you see an 11 on the clock. It is so important that we work together to create the optimal climate for CHANGE at this crucial time on our planet. Join us in building a powerful field of energy to support significant shifts toward a more peaceful world.

The Global Alliance for Departments of Peace was a powerful gathering of some amazing people from around the planet who are holding the high watch for peace. Held here in Cape Town at the beginning of October sparks for change were ignited. Two countries have already established Departments of Peace, Nepal and Costa Rico. Can you even imagine what could happen if America would devote even a fraction of the funds we are devoting to “defense” to build peace instead? It would be trans-formative. The time has come. Please continue to hold this intention in your heart and together we are building peace right now!

The UN Summit on Climate Change will convene in Durban, S.A. on Nov. 28 and I will travel there to be part of the Civil Society events that are being held all during the summit. There will be interfaith prayers and meditations as well as a march on The Global Day of Action

December 3. Please do send LIGHT during this important summit. There has been such negativity and discouragement about our ability to move forward with action to address the devastating effects of climate change on our planet. It is time to set aside rhetoric and move ahead in international solidarity. Perhaps there are now enough chinks in the armor of the multinational corporations and their control of policy making that now we can see the Light of change moving. How much destruction do we need to witness before we can come together of one accord to make decisive action to protect our environment and to preserve the existence of many species including humanity? I have seen enough to convince me that we all must now make shifts in the way we live and use resources. Perhaps this shift requires a massive change in value systems that have conspired to create unreasonable standards for material consumption.

We were blessed to greet Ela Gandhi (above) at the Global Alliance for Departments of Peace and she is also instrumental in organizing the voice of Civil Society at the UN Summit on Climate Change. Ela has been carrying on her grandfather’s work in Durban which is where the UN Summit will be hosted. I am proud to align with this great woman and the consciousness she represents! Join in from wherever you may be!

Having this long stay in South Africa is a mighty lesson for me; a lesson in simplicity, in finding joy in the smallest things, in taking time for myself and others, and perhaps most importantly for me to invest in our youth. The way ahead for the next generations is unclear. How important it is for them to find a path of hope and creativity. I believe solutions to our challenges abound. If we will turn young creative minds loose they will find the ways to move ahead to build a better world that works for all of us. When I see solar hot water heaters mounted on the roof of even the smallest house here, I am encouraged. The way ahead involves small changes in every household and huge changes in every heart.

Plant a garden, mentor a young person, learn how you can conserve valuable resources and find your own way to grow HOPE in our world.

It is a huge shift we are making and it will take positive energy being channeled by every one of us. Keep your focus on the intentions you wish to see for our world, for our lives, and for the generations to follow.

I have seen enough to convince me that we all must now make shifts in the way we live and use resources. Perhaps this shift requires a massive change in value systems that have conspired to create unreasonable standards for material consumption.
